Cookie Policy

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device to support site functionality and improve browsing experience.

2. Cookies We Use

Browser storage keeps your selected language, appearance and analytics choice. Optional Google Analytics cookies are used only with your separate consent; details below.

3. Third-Party Content

Links to external booking, map and contact services open those providers, which have their own notices. The optional Google Analytics integration is described below.

4. Managing Cookies

You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality.

Optional Google Analytics

Only after you choose “Allow analytics”, public pages load the free Google Analytics 4 service (Google Ireland Limited; measurement ID G-P478J8SLL3). It measures public page views, booking-link openings and contact-link clicks to help improve this website. A click does not establish an enquiry, booking or payment. The booking, guest-account and owner-admin pages do not load this tag.

Consent is the basis for this optional analytics processing. Before consent or after rejection, this integration makes no requests to Google and sends no cookieless analytics pings. When enabled, Google receives IP/browser/device information and analytics cookie identifiers. We send only allowlisted public page paths, a generic page title and internal public referrers, without query strings or fragments. External referrers retain only the origin (protocol and host), never their path or query. We do not send form contents, contact details, stay dates or booking identifiers. Google may process data outside the EEA, including the USA; see Google’s privacy information for its transfer safeguards.

Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) last up to 180 days without renewal on each visit. A separate browser-storage choice (sagerhouse_google_analytics_consent_v1) lasts 180 days. Language/appearance preferences are separate. Ads consent stays denied; Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled. Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to reject or withdraw at any time. Withdrawal stops future events, removes accessible analytics cookies and reloads the page to unload the tag; other open tabs follow the changed choice. It does not erase information already processed by Google. Browser settings can also clear storage. Contact sager.apart.house@gmail.com for privacy requests.
