The story of Sagerhaus

Our hosts tell of a carpenter’s house that was once home to a large family, known in town as Sagerhaus. They place its story at around two centuries old. This is an oral account: the exact construction date has not been documented.

In today’s apartment, wood brings warmth to the bedroom, lounge and dining area. There is a place to settle with a book and a table for the day’s plans.

A stay here is an invitation to use the house in your own way: make coffee, sit down together, and return after discovering the town. The connection with craftsmanship also offers a good starting point for exploring the Murau region’s timber culture.
